Notes: 4th annual benefit show for the Rumson County Day School with Bobby Bandiera band : Bob Berger on guitar, Kevin Kavanaugh on keyboards, Muddy Shews on bass and Joe Belia on the drums.
Notes: We can call this the 'opening night' of the tour, since this was a regular show, billed as 'benefit for World Hunger'. Great speaking between songs and 'storytelling' introduction to many tracks. 9 song from the new album inserted in a 23 well balanced song set with a couple of clear highlights from the past.
Notes: Second (benefit) public show of the tour. The setlist structure seems more delineated: A strong start and then a slowdown to come up to the piano tracks, then fast and slow again. Some surprises in last part of the set, then encores. Somehow different from the day before, when the 'surprises' were placed in the middle, before the slow closers. Which asset will be the definitive one?
