Notes: Four tour premieres: "The Ties That Bind," "Candy's Room," "Racing in the Street," and-- for the first time since the Born in the U.S.A. tour-- "I'm a Rocker". "Thunder Road" left out.
Notes: Tour premieres of "No Surrender" and "Mary Queen of Arkansas" (performed solo, with harmonica and acoustic guitar), . After "Land of Hope and Dreams," it seemed to be time to go, as usual-- then Springsteen said, "Well, I guess I got a little bit left." Like "Kansas City" a few days ago, it was a local special: with memories of the Milwaukee '75 "bomb scare" show surely dancing in their heads, Bruce and the band launched into an extended jam on Chuck Berry's "Little Queenie." Bruce still remembers his history-- it's the same song they returned to the Uptown Theater stage with back on 10/2/75 after waiting out the bomb scare in a hotel bar, when Bruce asked the eternal question, "Are you loose?" Bruce and the band last covered the song in Philly on 9/21/99.
Notes: The band returns on stage for W.O.T.H. after land of hope, and it seemed to have been a last-minute decision. The show length is now established to 23-24 songs
