Please note: the information
published on this page are gathered from the internet, books, or from collectors
writing me.
If you think the details I'm giving here are not correct, please share your thoughts
with me, using the e-mail address contrib@brucespringsteen.it
and correct any error I did, helping to build up a great reference site for all
the bruce collectors. If you have better photos than the ones I
collected about the item in question, you can send them in jpg format, ideal
size is 200 - 300K, I'll manage to cut and compose them.
Don't ask for more info
about the items, because I just publish what I get from collectors, I have no
items to check directly. Many photos come from the Brucebase
vinyl vault and/or Brucebase
studio boot, which are precious sources of information that you should
always use to integrate mine. Don't ask for information about buying or
exchanging the items described in this pages, the information you can find here
are for referential purpose only and you would get no response.
Notes:
Introduced by James Gandolfini, Springsteen and the E Street Band opened this year's Video Music Awards with a live performance of "The Rising." Bruce's VMA opening was broadcast from the Rose Center for Earth and Space, the Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History. They began the evening's hour-and-15-minute performance with two takes of The Rising-- one to warm up, followed by one for the cameras--and that was in addition to running through the song several times at the afternoon soundcheck.
